Kathy Hannan - Principal

Jarrell ISD is proud to announce the appointment of Kathy Hannan as the new principal of Jarrell Elementary School. A dedicated educator and

experienced campus leader, Hannan brings a strong background in student support, instructional leadership, and elementary education to the role.

"Kathy Hannan has served in education through a variety of leadership and student-centered positions. Her professional background also includes serving as a school counselor, along with multiple roles in the elementary school setting, giving her a well-rounded understanding of campus operations and student success," said Superintendent Dr. Toni Hicks

Mrs. Hannan is coming to Jarrell ISD from Bales Elementary in Buckeye, Arizona, where she has been serving as principal. In this role, she has improved academic results, mentored teachers, and increased parent engagement through campus-wide initiatives that equip families with information and support.

“I am proud to be an administrator with a counselor's heart. As educators, our goal is to ensure that our students are future-ready. I believe the best way an administrator can take care of students is by taking care of teachers. I'm looking forward to partnering with the students, staff, and families at Jarrell Elementary.

Kathy Hannan has almost twenty years of educational experience. Before working in Arizona, Mrs. Hannan taught in the Houston area. She earned her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Phoenix and a Master's of Education and School Counseling degree from Lamar University.
