Recent Changes and Updates

Hello Parents!

I hope you are having a great start to the new year! We have some recent changes/updates...

Picking your child up in the car line
Please have your school issued yellow car tag if you come through the car line.  If you need a new one or a second one, you need to get it from the front office for $2.
If your child is being picked up by someone else, you need to either give that person your yellow car tag, or call the office so that we can write a car rider slip. The person picking up needs to be prepared to show ID at the car.

Box Tops
We are currently collecting box tops for our PTO so we can have extra funding for our school. Some of you have already sent some in, so thank you! We will be collecting all this month, so please feel free to send some in!

Next Week's Schedule
This coming Monday (1/16), we have off school.
We also have a half day (12:05) dismissal on Friday (1/20).
*On half days, there is no after school care, so please make arrangements for your child to be picked up and childcare if needed.

Thank you for all your support this year and please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns!

Field Day

Field Day is on Friday October, 28th!

1. Please make sure your child is wearing sunscreen BEFORE school! I am not allowed to put sunscreen on children.

2. Tennis shoes need to be worn since the students will be walking a lot, and playing different games and climbing on playscapes.

3. If parents want to attend Field Day (Wednesday the 26th) was the last day to purchase tickets. They WILL NOT be selling/allowing parents to purchase tickets at the gate of Reunion Ranch. Younger siblings are NOT allowed to Reunion Ranch for liability reasons.

4. Reunion Ranch has 3 water stations throughout for the students to get drinks from. We will NOT be bringing water bottles with us.

5. Lunch is also provided for the students. Students will NOT be bringing lunches with them to Reunion Ranch. Additional money is not needed.

6. The bus leaves around 8:45am and will be returning to school at 2:30pm. If you are coming to Reunion Ranch to be with your child, your child HAS to ride the BUS back to the school. You are welcome to come back to the Elementary School after Field Day and pick your child up through the Front Office.

*****There will be no early dismissals tomorrow. If you would like to pick up your child from school instead of them going to after school or riding the bus, please write and note and send it with your child tomorrow! ***

All money and orders are due September 12th. There are prizes for the students who sell orders. Also, if a child (or siblings) sell 15 items will go on a party bus to CiCi's Pizza!
